These are illustrations of characters created by my brilliant friend Catherine Schaff-Stump for the anthology Needles and Bones from Drollerie Press. These are Rumor and Xiao Ping from Sister Night, Sister Moon. The sad thing is that the shimmer and vibrancy of the paint is completely lost in the scan. Ah well.
