Cropping
Just finished this picture, and am not terribly pleased with it as a whole. However, cropping certain parts of it make it a bit more appealing to me...
I haven't decided which I prefer, however I love the opportunities Photoshop affords in recycling pictures. What are normally studies or throwaway sketches can become finished works in their own right. For some reason I'd had this point of view that if a picture didn't achieve its original purpose it was done, scrapped. I've noticed other artists taking sketches and using them repeatedly in different works. It's very inspiring!

Welcome!
So I've decided to start a blog devoted solely to my art work. To start, here are a few of my ACEO's...
As you can see, I like faces. I find them fun to paint, and like to play with different expression. I like the ACEO format because of its convenience. With my time constraints, I can complete a painting to my relative satisfaction, and it's very good for experimenting with styles.
